Chiddy Bang..

The first artist is Chiddy Bang, from Pennsylvania. They are an alternative hip hop band that consists of "Chiddy" Anaege and Noah "Xaphoon Jones" Beresin. The duo was introduced in late 2008 during their freshman year at Drexel University. Their sound is a blend of alternative (using samples from artist Ellie Goulding, Radiohead, Passion Pit, and MGMT) and hip hop. In 2010 they were signed to Parlophone/EMI with plans to release an album within the coming year. According to president Miles Leonard of Parlophone the had been listening to the song "Opposite of Adults" which off of Chiddy Bang's mini- mixtape called The Swelly Express, all summer , so they decided to do something with it and sign the duo. The album was released in Februrary 2012 titled Breakfast and can be purchased on iTunes and Google Music. 

Their music is different and enjoyable as oppose to some hard core hip hop. I first heard of Chiddy Bang through another artist, who featured them on their own debut album. I have a few favorites off their debut album that are in my most played list in my iTunes.
